Karim Abraheem is an Iraqi photographer from the city of Amarah. In 1979 he was forced to leave Iraq. He started his life in Belgium, where he studied third world developement cooperation (ULB) and photography at the Academy for Visual Arts in Anderlecht and at the Academy for Visual Arts in Etterbeek.
